Jeff Garner is a mission-focused senior leader and Army combat veteran with an exemplary record of building healthy organizations, strengthening teams, and advancing services for veterans and their families. His background spans state veterans’ services, higher education, nonprofit leadership, human resources, and talent acquisition where he has led cross-functional operations, policy development, and community partnerships with a strong grasp of funding strategies and fiduciary duty.

He is known for steady governance, ethical decision making, and turning ideas into sustainable programs. As founder of Veterans Therapy Haven, he translated a vision for equine-assisted care into a multi-site service model that coordinated clinical quality, staff development, community partnerships, and continuous improvement for veteran and first-responder care.

Education and preparation include a BS in Health Care Management, graduate study in Military Resilience and Pastoral Care, and certifications in DEI, strategic HR, equine-assisted psychotherapy, resilience training, nonprofit development and management.

At the board table he brings disciplined planning, clear communication, and a service-before-self mindset centered on governance, performance, and mission impact.
