David Sawler is a combat veteran with service in the United States Marine Corps and the US Army, I developed strong leadership skills and a commitment to duty during deployments that demanded resilience and precision. Transitioning to civilian life presented challenges in maintaining the camaraderie forged in uniform, prompting me to join the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA). As a member of Chapter 10-7, I contribute to our 501(c)(3) mission by organizing charity events and supporting veterans and their families, reigniting a sense of brotherhood and purpose on the open road.
Board Certified in Security Management (CPP) by ASIS International and holding the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC², I possess extensive expertise in physical security, cybersecurity, and multiple Department of Homeland Security Emergency Management certifications. My education includes undergraduate degrees in management and criminal justice, as well as a master's degree in cybersecurity with a concentration in intelligence.
In my role on the Executive Board, I am committed to modernizing CVMA's operational practices through technology and innovation, thereby enhancing the quality and reach of services provided to our veteran community. Together, we honor service and build enduring support.
